General terms and conditions

1. Scope of application

The application Glyco (hereinafter referred to as “App”) is a tool for persons of any age. These general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Glyco and the User (natural person or legal entity registered with the App) regarding the use of the App.

By registering on Glyco and using the related services, the User agrees to the GTC. The App reserves the right to change these GTC at any time and without giving reasons. The User will be notified of any changes in good time before they come into force. By continuing to use the app after the amended GTC come into force, the user agrees to these.

In case of violation of these terms of use, the manufacturer is entitled to block and delete the user's access and account.

2. Terms of usage

The app serves exclusively as a tool and in no way in medical means. The use of the app is voluntary and each user assumes his or her own responsibility for the use of the app.

The manufacturer assumes no liability for the use of the app. All content provided for users of this app is for informational purposes only. They in no way substitute medical or health advice, instructions or recommendations. Likewise, the content published in this app is not a substitute for medical treatment or instructions from physicians or medical providers.

The sources for the carbohydrates are taken from the internet and from various public publications. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any issues regarding this data.

3. Registration

After registering on Glyco, the user will receive a personal user account consisting of a user name and password. He assures that all data given during registration are correct. Registration under a false name is not permitted. In case of obviously fictitious data Glyco reserves the right to delete the account.

For security reasons, authentication can be done via third party software.

The access data are personal and the user undertakes to keep them secret, to protect them from access by third parties and not to pass them on to third parties. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for consequences arising from the disclosure of the access data.

The user undertakes not to use the app for any purposes other than those for which it is intended, not to misuse it and not to store, distribute or make accessible any criminal or illegal content of any kind on the application. Furthermore, the user agrees not to use the app in a way that negatively affects its availability to other users.

4. Intellectual property

All text, content, images, logos and information are the exclusive property of Glyco. The content may be viewed, used and downloaded for personal, non-commercial use. Under no circumstances may the content be sold, transferred, assigned, licensed, sublicensed or modified.

The content may not be displayed, reproduced, broadcast, modified, adapted, translated, derived, sold, distributed or otherwise used in any way for public or commercial purposes.

5. Applicable law and forum

Any legal relationships and disputes shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for the latter is St. Gallen.
